Colony Collapse Disorder of the Honey Bee

  • 11/18/2015
  • 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM
  • Foothills Learning Center
Hosted by the Foothills Learning Center - Conservation & education Series

The Treasure Valley Beekeepers Club is presenting an in-depth look at all the known elements contributing to the massive decline of honey bee populations in the United States.  We will also discuss what can be done to help reduce the problem and help honey bees survive. Since much of the food grown in our country and around the world relies on honeybees for pollination, this is a critically important topic for all of us as we consider the future health of agriculture and food systems both locally and globally.  Free.  No pre-registration needed.  Please no pets.

Foothills Learning Center: 3188 Sunset Peak Road.  Take 8th Street north through Boise's North End.  From the end of the pavement go 1/3 mile farther. Phone:  208.493.2530
