Master Water Steward Workshop

Become a volunteer Water Master Steward with the IDAH2O program by attending this fascinating workshop hosted by University of Idaho Extension. Participants will have classroom instruction and hands-on field work. The workshop runs from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30p.m.

Stewards adopt streams or other surface water sites, and analyze riparian habitat, biological life and chemical and physical components of the water. Data collected is submitted to the program and is made publicly available so that everyone can benefitfrom the valuable information collected by volunteers. The workshop will include a 4-hour classroom session and a 4-hour hands-on field session at a local creek. Professional DevelopmentCredits are available to educators. You must register to attend. Seating is limited. Cost: $40 (due at time of workshop).
