October is the time to get ready for the winter bird feeding season. We will cover types of feeders and seeds, the value of water in winter, and other features that make a backyard attractive to birds. We'll also talk about how to identify the most common birds coming to feeders in the Boise area. Finally, we'll look at Project FeederWatch, one of the easiest bird data collection programs out there.
