Fish Release Party, WaterShed Weekend

  • 05/17/2014
  • 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
  • Boise WaterShed Environmental Education Center
Help us release trout into the Boise River!  At 10:30 Eddy Trout will make an appearance for our half-mile hike to the Boise River to release our rainbow trout!  Wear shoes/boots that can get wet.

Between 10:00 – 1:00 p.m. visit our Exhibit Hall to learn about fish and water science and have some fun at the same time!    Dive into fish and water science as you meet water agency staff at hands-on stations inside and outside the exhibit hall.  Inside the exhibit hall make an edible ice cream aquifer, try fly-casting, learn to tie flies, meet live macroinvertebrates (water bugs), and make fish prints with artist Renda Palmer!

Location:
