Hosted by the Foothills Learning Center - 2nd Saturday Series
Join us for our annual fall celebration of these important insects. Matt Schmasow, our former National Science Foundation Fellow, will join us once again to share his knowledge about bees and pollination.
Take a tour of our pollinator garden with a native plant expert to see the array of plants that could thrive in your backyards to feed bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.
Swing by the Backyard Beekeeping Station where our wonderful and dedicated Treasure Valley Beekeepers will be sharing the ins and outs of keeping these fascinating insects and see all of the “tools of the trade”.
Of course we’ll keep the younger set busy as bees with our fun and engaging hands-on activities.
Date/Time: 10 am - 1 pm
Fun, free, drop in! Please no pets.
