Accessible Birding: Kathryn Albertson Park

To secure a place at this event, registration is required. Please make sure ALL fields are filled out on the registration form and a confirmation email is received.

We'll be going on an accessible and inclusive bird outing in a beautiful natural setting. The most easily spotted birds are ducks, geese, songbirds and herons. We will be covering up to 2 miles on smooth paved and boardwalk surfaces.

We will be moving at a relaxed pace and many benches are placed throughout the park if you would like to rest.

All levels are welcome. Binoculars will be available if needed.

Participants younger than 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Participants younger than 18 must have a parent/guardian sign the liability release.

Time: 10:00am - 12:00pm

Meeting place: Kathryn Albertson Park. We will meet outside on the sidewalk at the main walkway into the park and walk together around the paths. 

What to bring: Layers for weather and binoculars. No dogs please.

Restroom availability: Restrooms will be available at the parking lot.
