To secure a place at this event, registration is required. Please make sure ALL fields are filled out on the registration form and a confirmation email is received.
We will be exploring Kathryn Albertson Park on this birding outing. There is a variety of wildlife that can be found in the park, including a number of bird species. Birds likely seen on this trip are : the Belted Kingfisher, Western-Screech Owl , various ducks, Cedar Waxwings, and more.
Please note, the walking paths may be uneven in spots, and during this time of year it may be icy in patches . Please dress for the weather and wear good shoes. Dressing in layers is a great idea.
All levels are welcome. Binoculars will be available if needed.
Participants younger than 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Participants younger than 18 must have a parent/guardian sign the liability release.
Time: 10am - 12pm
Meeting place: Kathryn Albertson Park, in the parking lot
What to bring: Bring layers for weather, closed toe shoes and binoculars. No dogs please.
Restroom availability: Restrooms will be available at the park (though sometimes they may close during the winter).
