We are currently looking for individuals who are interested in joining our Board of Directors. As a board member you can contribute your knowledge and expertise to help ammeliorate impacts to wildlife and habitat associated with development within Barber Valley. We aim to improve the condition of open space across the valley. In doing so, the board to maintains good working relationships with private landowners, county, city, state, and federal staff as well as NGOs. The HRWMA goals are to avoid human interaction in sensitive areas, when possible, minimize activities that threaten habitat values, and restore habitat areas to incentivize wildlife to utilize the restored areas where possible and maintain access to the public to enjoy the diversity and beauty of Barber Valley. Mitigation efforts through the HRWMA also include education of residents and the general public who visit the area. Board Member Qualifications While there are not a specific set of qualifications, the successful applicant may have a combination of skills that the board is looking for.
