Marianne Williams Park is a 72-acre park featuring paved walking paths along a variety of habitats, including 2 large ponds, and is part of the Idaho Birding Trail. Some of the most prevalent spring birds here are ducks, warblers, blackbirds, cormorants, and herons. **Pathways are paved and wheelchair accessible.
Birding Skill Level: All experience levels are welcome. Binoculars will be available if needed. Age: Participants younger than 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Participants younger than 18 must have a parent/guardian sign the liability release.
Time: 8:00 am - 10:00 am. Check-in is 7:50 am.
Meeting place: Marianne Williams Park picnic shelter, adjacent to the parking lot. (Click on "Meeting Place" to get directions from your location.) What to bring: Layers for weather, sun protection, comfortable shoes, binoculars, water, and snacks as needed. A spotting scope will be available. No dogs please.
Restroom availability: Restrooms are available year-round. Inclement Weather: If there is an unhealthy AQI or steady rain forecast, the trip will be cancelled. If precipitation is light or intermittent, we will proceed as scheduled.
