Foothills Native Restoration Planting Day

Wednesday, October 22, 10am-3pm

---

Come join us to enhance the natural habitat for the benefit of pollinators and wildlife by planting native shrubs, grasses, and wildflowers in the beautiful Boise Foothills!

Get down to earth by planting these promising young seedlings!

We will be meeting at the trail off Trapper Place Road. If you live close by, then you can get exercise and bike or walk to the meeting place. If you live farther away, then there is parking along Trapper Place Road. After we gather, then we will take a short jaunt up the draw with equipment and seedlings in hand to where we will be planting in the foothills.

What you will need to know and bring for planting days?

We will provide seedlings to plant, gloves, tools, equipment, and any guidance or training needed for the day, so that you can join us for a relaxing and productive day outdoors.

Feel free to bring your own gloves, tools, kneeling pad, and/or gardening trowel, if you would like to.

You may also want to bring water, a snack, layers for fall weather, a hat, sunscreen, and sturdy shoes.

Be prepared. Fall is a pleasant time of year, but it may be a little chilly to start in the morning and then it typically warms up as the day goes on.
