Harris North "Grow the Core" Planting Days
Day TWO
Wednesday, October 29, 10am-3pm
---
Come join us to extend the natural habitat by planting native seedlings next to patches of existing native plant communities
Help us "Grow the Core" of natural habitat in the area!
We will be meeting Meet at the P.O. Box on the corner of E. Barber Drive and E. Hootowl Drive. If you live close by, then you can get exercise and bike or walk to the meeting place. If you live farther away, then there is parking along Trapper Place Road and some of the side roads. After we gather, then we will take a short walk to the nearby hillside with equipment and seedlings in hand.

What you will need to know and bring for planting days?
We will provide seedlings to plant, gloves, tools, equipment, and any guidance or training needed for the day, so that you can join us for a relaxing and productive day outdoors.
Feel free to bring your own gloves, tools, kneeling pad, and/or gardening trowel, if you would like to.
You may also want to bring water, a snack, layers for fall weather, a hat, sunscreen, and sturdy shoes.
Be prepared. Fall is a pleasant time of year, but it may be a little chilly to start in the morning and then it typically warms up as the day goes on.
