Expansion of the Corner Pollinator Garden
Tuesday, November 4th, 10am-2pm
---
Building upon our ever growing corner pollinator garden, this planting will expand the garden eastward along the greenbelt. This is a flat, easy area to spend a day bending and lending a hand for pollinators.
Meet us in the Coffee Mill Parking Lot and then drive and park off S. Millbrook Way, Barnside, or at Marianne William Park. We gather at this corner off the greenbelt near Warm Springs Creek. Alternatively you can walk or ride your bike and meet us there.
Providing native plants as additional habitat for pollinators, such as bees, butterflies, moths, flies, and beetles will give them a much needed leg (and wing) up and replace weeds with better habitat.

What you will need to know and bring for planting days?
We will provide the plants, tools, equipment, and any guidance or training needed for the day, so you can join us for a relaxing day outdoors.
Feel free to bring your own gloves, tools, kneeling pad, and/or gardening trowel, if you would like to.
You may also need water, a snack, hat, sunscreen, and sturdy shoes.
Be prepared for fall weather by dressing in layers. Fall is a pleasant time of year, but it may be a little chilly to start and then it usually warms up as the day goes on.
