Join Golden Eagle Audubon on a walk tour around the ponds of Esther Simplot Park. Esther Simplot Park is a 55-acre recreational area next to the Boise River, and is home to a variety of wetland birds and animals. The pace will be slow to allow everyone to enjoy the birds and observe any interesting behavior. We'll be on the lookout for a variety of late winter birds including ducks, cormorants, and songbirds in the ponds and along the Boise River. Expect to walk 1 - 1.5 miles on paved trails, depending on what route looks most interesting. Paths are mostly paved - some are packed gravel, and mostly level.
