Ada Soil and Water Conservation District Presents: Documenting Idaho's Native Bees — The Idaho Bee Atlas

WHEN: Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 6:30 PM
WHERE: Library! at Hillcrest 5246 W Overland Road, Boise
COST: Free

WHAT: An introduction to Idaho's 700+ native bee species, their lifecycles, nesting habits and foraging styles. The Idaho Bee Atlas team (in collaboration with Oregon State University) trains students, like you, to collect, curate, and identify our native bees. We emphasize the relationship between bees and the plants they use for building and provisioning their nests. The Idaho Bee Atlas works to turn citizen science into publicly available tools for land managers and bee conservation.
