WHEN: Wednesday, October 28th from 8:00am - 10:00am. Check-in is at 7:50 am. Please arrive at check-in so we can start on time.
WHAT: Join GEAS and the Wednesday Birders as we check out fall birds at Barber Park. We will meander through forest canopies over to the river looking for ducks that have come for the winter. Our 1.2 mile path will take us along the river before it loops back to the parking area. Along the way, we'll be on the lookout for waterfowl, songbirds, woodpeckers, and Great Horned Owls. We will be moving at a slow pace to allow plenty of time to observe bird behavior in the habitat.

Birding Skill Level: All levels are welcome. Binoculars will be available to borrow if needed.
Age: Participants younger than 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and participants younger than 18 must have a parent/guardian sign the liability release.
Meeting place: We will meet at Barber Park in the main parking lot near the restrooms.
Restroom Availability: Restrooms are available near the parking lot.
